There is no hour inside 09:00–18:00 for everyone. The least awkward hour right now is 8:00 AM–9:00 AM in New York = 12:00 PM–1:00 PM in London = 5:30 PM–6:30 PM in India. The usual compromise is 8:00 or 9:00 AM in New York: the London afternoon and the Indian evening.
